Korean Ramen

I think that most Korean's favorite food is Ramen.
So there're many kinds of ramen in Korea.

I haven't tried all ramens. I think it's impossible. Too many !!

It's my favorite ramen named 'Anseongtangmyeon'.

* How to Make Ramen *

There're noodles and flavor packet.

Fill the pot with 550ml (3 cup) water.

When the water starts to boil, add the flavor packet, noodles, and spring onion if you have.

Time to enjoy the ramen !!

You know what ? Ramen would be very yummy if you eat Gimchi together.

Korean Fast Food Restaurant - LOTTERIA

There're many Fast Food Restaurants in the world such as McDonald's, Burger King, KFC and so on. Here's a Korean Fast Food Restaurant.

The name is Lotteria. I think the most popular fast food restaurants in Korea are McDonald's and Lotteria.

It's almost empty because it was late time when I dropped by there.

If there's no stock, they give us the 'waiting bell' like picture. My 'waiting bell' was No 4. If the 'waiting bell' turns light and has vibration, it means my order has been completed. I think it's very convenient system.

All I have to pay for 3 hamburgers was ONLY USD 5 (5,000 KRW) because of a  promotion. But the size was small. -);;

 

Korean Instant Coffee - White Gold Coffee Mix vs KANU Mild Roast Americano

We don't have a coffee machine.
My husband and I are not picky eater. Of course, in a coffee, too.
So we like instant coffee. Because it's very easy to keep and to make. And the taste is also good, I think.

In Korea, there're many kinds of instant coffee. My favorite coffee is follow two.


1. White Gold Coffee Mix

My favorite mixed coffee is THIS. Yu-na Kim, figure skating star is its commercial model. So we call it 'Yuna Coffee'.

It's very easy to make. Just need one stick of coffee and some hot water. When I'd like to drink sweet coffee, I try it. Bitter-sweet taste is good.



2. KANU Mild Roast Americano

My favorite instant black coffee is KANU Americano.
The advertising copy is "The Smallest Cafe in the World". Yes, I agree with it !!

It has two kinds of taste, Mild and Dark. Both of them are good, but I like Mild better.
The taste is good. Especially, it has a good aftertaste.

Korean TV Show - Please Take Care of My Refrigerator

I'd like to introduce Korean famous TV show named "Please take care of my refrigerator". It's one of my favorite TV shows.

Celebrities appear on the show as the guests.

The guests bring their own refrigerators and the hosts look in it. They check what kind of food and ingredients are in it.



After the checking, the chefs who are most famous in Korea compete each other using ingredients only in the refrigerator. And they have to cook within 15 minutes !!

It's very exciting to see their cooking techniques and creative recipes within limited time.

It's amazing !! They are mouth-watering food !!

Trip to JEJU ISLAND in 2015

I was pregnant in 2015. So I'd like to take a trip to JEJU with my baby.
The reason was, I thought that my baby could also feel the beauty of JEJU.

As soon as we arrived in JEJU, we went to Dongmun Traditional Market to buy sliced raw fish. We had it for our dinner with instant cup ramen and gimbap. Of course, my hubby drank JEJU Tangerine Makgeolli. Raw fish was fresh and cheap.

The sea has emerald green water. The water is so clear.

We had Spicy Seafood Stew and Braised Cutlassfish for our lunch. Both of two were  yummy !!

We could see many green grasslands and farms on the way to Hallasan Mountain.

They're Noodle Soup with Pork. Very famous food in JEJU !!

It's Dol Hreubang (means Stone Grandpa). It's said in JEJU that if the woman touch the nose of it, she can have a son.

It's Seongsan Sunrise Peak. It was very very beautiful.
CNN chose 50 beautiful places to visit in Korea in 2012. Seongsan Sunrise Peak was first place among them.

I can't remember the name of beach. It was quiet and peaceful.

We could see many horses easily in JEJU on the road.

I miss the sky of JEJU. We enjoyed the picturesque scenery at that time.

We walked around the traditional market. Traditional market always makes me feel better.

The night of JEJU. Very quiet and peaceful.
